Our lives took a 180-degree turn. The workdays completely changed, instead of getting up early for the office, we are working from home.

Which is a completely new experience for most of us. Some of us aren’t even getting out of bed to do our work, which is unhealthy. There are some people with jobs that cannot be done from or the unfortunate that were laid off due to due to this pandemic.

They have a lot of free time at their hands, this could lead to boredom. It’s like a never-ending weekend for them. It is important to find some sort of productive activity to engage in. 

It isn’t like you could travel to the places you wanted to go or go hang out with your friends. You have to maintain a physical distance that means no going out, you have to stay at home to reduce the spread of corona virus. 

To avoid depression and here are some productive activities you could engage in 

  1. Organize your whole day
  2. Deep clean your house
  3. Learn a new skill
  4. Learn a new language
  5. Meditate or do yoga
  6. Pick some online courses (Many institutes are offering free courses)
  7. Start a new skincare routine
  8. Work on your summer body

For those of us who are doing job in this quarantine

With abundant free time, this is the best period to upgrade your CV with a professional course. There is a variety of online courses to choose from, all you need to do is find one that is related to your work or interests.

Catch Up on Your Reading

Everyone always seems to be complaining that they don’t have enough time to read.

bringing on the latest true-crime documentaries on Netflix is certainly one way to entertain yourself, wouldn’t it be much more productive and fulfilling to tackle that stack of books that you always dream to read in your life.

Take a digital museum tour

You are no longer able to go to restaurants but you have all it takes to try and make a variety of dishes. If you love cooking this is the best time to learn some new recipes for your husband or for your family and friends.

With all the time you have in your hands, you can bring innovation into your cooking techniques by trying new recipes.

Staying at home for extended periods of time can be a challenge. So wash your hands, regularly wipe down the things you touch frequently, and try to use the time to accomplish something productive. As Doctors said cure is the best prevention.
